Aside from the obvious attributes of this little-known smoker, there just is something about post-apocalyptic draw that puts the Mad Max Interceptor near the top of everyone’s top ten movie car list.

The Mad Max replica was one of the fastest. All the XB GTs came with a 300 horsepower, 351 cubic inch V-8, and a nine inch differential. Not a bad combo for an out-of-the-box hotrod. It’s hard to believe that the XB GT and the Mustang all derived from the 1960 Ford Falcon, which can be described as mousy at best.
